M-Dot Releases 360 Video For “Give It To Me”

To kick off the New Year, Boston’s M-Dot will drop his a new full length, January 27, 2017. This is a fresh smack of a song. Jon Glass’ beat is sinister with the chopped vocal loop and snapping snares. Beaming with energy, “Give It to Me” blares, letting M-Dot spit his quick flow over it. The samples snippets that comprise the hook are catchy and deep matched with the Zigga Zigga of LP2. M-Dot’s journey started in Revere, gathering props and allies from and in strong emcees. egO anD The eneMy proves this, as did 2015’s Jake LaDotta, with appearances by Method Man, Hi-Tek, Large Professor, Marley Marl, Buckwild, M-Phazes, Marco Polo, 7L, !llmind, Da Beatminerz and Snowgoons on this imminent double LP.

“Give It To Me” is a 360 video shot in ‘little planet’ perspective by director Victor Keys in several locations around California. “Give It To Me” is visually exciting, whirling the viewer around the emcee as he traverses golden hued landscapes of the other coast. The feel of the 360 view is courtesy of director, Victor Keys. “When I wrote the track I had a lot of built up angst that I felt needed to be poured out,” he says about the track. “I’ve felt a chip on my shoulder my whole life. As far as the video goes, our main goal was to avoid doing anything like the first 360° we did. To us, it’s all about growth and it would be lame to repeat the same formula. Was a super fun shoot, albeit most people laughing at me I’m sure as I walked through Oakland streets strapped with a stick/device that held the 7 GoPros.” Disc 1 of egO anD The eneMy is due January 27, 2017.
